The Center for a Healthy Maryland’s health promotion programs are dedicated to improving the health status of the citizens of Maryland.

Skin Cancer Prevention arrow

 

The Maryland Skin Cancer Prevention Program provides messages to reduce the incidence of skin cancer from overexposure to the sun and tanning beds by targeting the media, schools, child care centers, primary care physicians, and outdoor workers.

 

Maternal & Child Health arrow

 

Programs provide training and consultation to identify high priority needs and assure the quality of care in the delivery of services to women, infants and children.

 

HIV/AIDS arrow

 

Information and resources on HIV/AIDS laws and best practices in Maryland.

 

Substance Abuse and Mental Health arrow

 

Programs provide services and resources to aid providers in delivering quality care.
